Due to various circumstances, I have become extremely fascinated with the plant family Allium, also known as the onion family. The Allium family has about a thousand species and the variation in shape and color of the flowers is enormous. I try to capture as many species as possible through photography. I grow the plants myself, but also visit breeders and growers. Furthermore, I want to visit botanic gardens around the world to expand my database.
Gradually photographing the Alliums, I also started to focus on making striking photos and digital compositions.
I publish my photos and digital art on this website for others to see. In this way I want to bring the knowledge about Allium to the attention of a wider audience.
